When I was much younger I made it a goal to watch as many Disney movies as I could. Alice in wonderland was one such movie that ended up really sticking with me. Even now, I still hold a lot of love for the book and movie adaptations.
My favorite thing about Alice in wonderland is how timeless it is. Despite the original book being written in 1865 the story itself leaves so much room for interpretation and different concepts/aesthetics.

For my book cover I wanted to really lean into the colorful almost psychedelic aesthetic of wonderland. I wanted the book to appeal to an older audience which is why I tried to add darker/ominous elements to it.
